Dear 3 Mark Producers and Affiliates,
It is with great disappointment that I must tell you that COVID-19 has claimed another industry victim. EMSI, one of the largest providers of Para-med, and attending physician statements has suddenly and unexpectedly ceased operations. This will have a significant impact on the life insurance business, and add to the disruption that all carriers are dealing with today. Many carriers rely upon EMSI to obtain their attending physician statements. They will have to seek alternative options immediately.
Fortunately for 3 Mark, we have, over the past few years, diversified our relationships in this area, so while we definitely will be impacted, hopefully, it will not be as dramatic as it might have been.
