Free Underwriting Upgrade!

For the rest of the year we are raising Standards - and Preferreds! We are running a FREE UW Upgrade program through December. It is pretty simple. Any permanent policy up to $1M face amount and issue age 18-75 will receive an automatic risk class upgrade if the client comes back at standard or preferred. For example - your client wants $1,000,000 of coverage and UW comes back at a standard NT rate - we will automatically bump them up to preferred!  Learn more.

October 1st Life Portfolio Changes

Effective October 1 we will be making adjustments to our GUL product pricing. At the same time, we will also be enhancing our Guaranteed Refund Option (GRO) Rider maximum refund cap as a way for you to offer additional value for your clients. The GRO Rider enhancement will also be included on our Income AdvantageSM IUL, which was introduced earlier this year. Learn more.

ASSET TRANSFER TIPS 

For all annuity carriers

Transferring assets, or exchanging money via section 1035 of the tax code, may have tax consequences. Any questions regarding taxation should be referred to a qualified tax professional.

  1. Call the Financial Institution/Insurance Company to see what they require to transfer the money e. g. some financial institutions, like Fidelity, require a call from the client to release money, others like Northwestern Mutual require their own surrender form to accompany the 1035/transfer form from the company receiving the money.
  2. Attach a copy of a current policy/ account statement for the funds being transferred to the 1035/transfer document.
  3. Complete the 1035/transfer form carefully and completely. Be sure all necessary signatures are obtained.
  4. Send original transfer forms with the application to 3 Mark for processing.
