This month’s topic: Helping Women Plan for Long-Term Care Expenses and Lincoln MoneyGuard II (2017) Overview

Statistically, women are more likely to outlive their male counterparts.  That added longevity brings with it a host of potential concerns in retirement.  One specific and growing concern is the increased likelihood of needing long-term care.  For women, the statistics speak for themselves—more than two-thirds of the long-term care population in both nursing homes and residential communities are women*.  There are many factors that contribute to this trend that impact women significantly more than their male counterparts.

In this ONE meeting, we’ll discuss:

  • Risk factors impacting women in retirement and why planning is important
  • The financial consequences of a Long-Term Care event
  • How to frame the LTC conversation and the planning options available
  • New flexible, affordable options with the Pay-to-65 option on Lincoln MoneyGuard II
  • Lincoln MoneyGuard II (2017) Reprice and Lincoln’s Competitive Positioning after the changes

In this NOW meeting, we’ll show you:

  • How to illustrate and present the NEW Lincoln MoneyGuard® II (2017) to reach new markets
  • The marketing materials available to help you start and continue the LTC conversation with your customers
  • The differences between the MoneyGuard and the Lincoln LifeEnhance® Accelerated Benefits Rider
